Annelies Marie “Anne” Frank was a German-Dutch diarist of Jewish heritage. One of the most discussed Jewish victims of the Holocaust, she gained fame posthumously with the 1947 publication of The Diary of a Young Girl in which she documents her life in hiding from 1942 to 1944. Anne`s diary entries show from the outset that she is content and optimistic despite the threats and danger that her family faces. Anne is a lively, curious girl of thirteen at the beginning of the play. She remains optimistic throughout the months they are in hiding and always makes the best of the situation she is in. As her diary reveals, she is very introspective and creative and has a vivid imagination. Anne feels that her mother, Mrs. Frank, is cold, critical, and uncaring, that they have very little in common, and that her mother does not know how to show love to her children.

Therefore, we could argue that a multinational company is a firm company that has “headquarters” in one country but with bases, manufacturing or assembly plants in others.
