Desired Classroom Culture
I want my classroom to be a community of learners where all students feel safe, respected, and valued. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and making mistakes. I also want them to be supportive of each other and to work together to achieve their goals.
Communication with Families
I will communicate with families regularly about their student’s classroom behavior and ability to meet set expectations. I will do this through a variety of methods, including:

Introduction and Implementation of Classroom Rules and Procedures
I will introduce my classroom rules and procedures to students at the beginning of the year. I will do this by discussing the rules and procedures with students and having them sign a contract agreeing to follow the rules. I will also post the rules and procedures in a prominent place in the classroom.
