A continual improvement process, also often called a continuous improvement process (abbreviated as CIP or CI), is an ongoing effort to improve products, services, or processes (Pep, 2018). Improvement in business strategy, business results, and customer, employee and supplier relationships can be subject to continual improvement (Pep, 2018). Whereas, performance model is created to define the significant aspects of the way in which a proposed or actual system operates in terms of resources consumed, contention for resources, and delays introduced by processing or physical limitations (such as speed, bandwidth of communications, access latency, etc.), a performance tool is the equipment used in the achievement of the organization`s goals and objectives (Harrison, 2019).
