List the three main approaches to database programming
What are the advantages and disadvantages of each approach?

Sample Solution

The three main approaches to database programming are structured query language (SQL), object-oriented databases (OODBMS) and NoSQL. Each of these approaches has advantages and disadvantages that must be considered when selecting a method for developing or managing a database.

Structured Query Language, commonly known as SQL, is the most popular approach to database programming used today. SQL allows developers to easily manipulate data stored in relational databases. It provides powerful commands such as SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE which allow users to access and modify large amounts of data quickly and efficiently. The biggest advantage of using SQL is its flexibility – it can be used on virtually any platform, making it an ideal choice for developing cross-platform applications. On the other hand, SQL requires users to use complex queries in order to perform more advanced operations such as joins between tables or creating views over multiple tables – this complexity makes it difficult for novice programmers to learn how to use effectively without prior experience.(Souza).

Object-oriented databases (OODBMS) offer an alternative approach for manipulating data – rather than using queries as with SQL, objects are used instead. This makes it much easier for developers who are familiar with object-oriented languages such as Java or C# since they can directly interact with objects within the database itself rather than having to learn a new language specific query syntax like they would need if they were working with a traditional relational database system(Scalar). The main advantage of OODBMS is that it allows developers greater freedom when designing their application since there is no need for them to create complex query structures or define relationships between tables in advance – all this can be done within the code itself by simply accessing the appropriate objects directly from the database(Gaines). However, one disadvantage of OODBMS is that performance may suffer due to overhead associated with loading objects from the underlying storage structure – this can slow down applications significantly if not accounted for properly during development stages(Rao).

NoSQL databases provide another approach which avoids many of the problems associated with both traditional relational systems and OODBMSs mentioned above by offering more flexible schema designs which do not require predefined table structures or relationships between different data entities(Fowler). This makes NoSQL very useful when dealing with unstructured data where rigid schemas cannot be applied because of their fluid nature but still want some sort of organization applied so that information can be retrieved quickly when needed(Krishnan et al.). Unfortunately though one major disadvantage lies in scalability – NoSQL systems often struggle under load since there is no standard way of controlling accesses across nodes meaning each node needs to communicate separately (Halevy et al.).

Anne Frank needs a mother and a father to be born and that makes up a family. Anne’s mother was a tall broad woman that was married to Otto Frank. Otto and Edith had a daughter 3 years before Anne. Her name was Margot Frank. They lived together until the concentration camps. Otto was a wealthy businessman and ended up owning his own company. Mrs Frank was a stay home mom who would hold big parties there would be beef stew and bread and always pastries. Anne’s sister was everyone’s favorite. She never threw a fit or made a scene, yes she was the perfect child. In my opinion Anne had a loving family that always loved her.

Life before imprisonment was good. They didn’t have to worry about Germans or discrimination. Life was great for the Frank family and the other Jews.

Anne was born in Germany and had lots of memorable moments. She didn’t have to worry about Germans or discrimination. She could go to school with all the other kids and go see a movie with her family. With all the big cities like Hamburg, Bremen, Frankfurt, Munich, and East Prussia. Amsterdam had to be the most known with so many tourist attractions. I wish I could go and see Germany when I’m older so I can see the hiding place of Anne Frank.

Netherlands

Anne Frank moved to the Netherlands with her family for freedom from Germany. They moved hoping to get out of Hitler’s control but then Hitler took over almost all of Europe. But before that things were good. Anne was in school as well as Margot and Otto had a business to run. Anne also had many friends at school and never thought of Hitler being a threat. I wonder if Anne went to see the flowers a lot. She once said she used to take it all for granted and that she missed the flowers.

The Holocaust

Adolf Hitler comes to power. Hitler hated anyone who was not German and even then still didn’t trust everyone and even killed thousands of his own soldiers. He particularly discriminated against Jews. He would torture, beat, and killed millions of Jews so he could take over Germany.

Nazi parties were held in celebration of Adolf Hitler and his coming to power. People and children were taught to celebrate and appreciate the things that Hitler did and many didn’t question it. Children would give him flowers and teens would play in bands at the Nazi parties. It annoys and aggravates me to think about Hitler wanting fame for persecuting and killing Jews. Hitler was quoted saying in m
