The development and deployment plan for my project will consist of four distinct cycles, following the agile methodology. Agile is a process-oriented approach that focuses on iterative delivery of product features in short-term increments (“Agile Project Management: Definition & Examples”, 2020). The first cycle will be the planning phase which involves gathering customer requirements and creating a roadmap for developing and deploying the product. The second cycle is design where solutions are created to meet the customer requirements collected in the planning phase. The third cycle is implementation where I will ensure quality assurance by testing to guarantee that all functionality works correctly and meets desired goals. Lastly, I will move into deploy or delivery of product or service when all tests have been passed successfully. This final stage allows me to make sure that customers are provided with what they require from my product/service (“Project Planning Cycle: Definition & Steps”, 2021).
By using this agile methodology I can look forward to an efficient process while maintaining control over scope creep and unforeseen changes during development since each cycle provides checkpoints along the way so necessary course corrections can be made quickly and efficiently as needed.
