There are many reasons conflict occurs. Sometimes, volunteers have other agendas. Or, the mission may be in their hearts, but their actions may cause issues for others around them (Benson, 2016). To clarify, not everything that looks and feels like conflict really is conflict. When we think of conflict, we tend to think of behaviors that may be aggressive, loud, demeaning, demanding, bullying, disrespectful, passive/aggressive, and on and on. Those same attributes may accompany issues that fall into areas outside of conflict, including Customer Service concerns or training/learning opportunities for the volunteer (and sometimes for staff!) There’s even conflict about what the definition of conflict is. Not all disagreements are in the same category. These are scenarios of situations that look and feel like conflict to most staff:
Twofold Conciousness in The Souls of Black Folk by W.E.B. Du Bois

WEB Dubois’ “Dark Folk Soul”/Double Consciousness: In a paper on page 5, we talk about the sentiments of Web Dubois that dark Americans assess one as dark and the different as dark It seems to be. It would be ideal if you feel irreversible showdown. The paper brings up that this view is established in the contention between Booker T. W. E. B. Dubois’ exemplary “dark soul” in 1903 investigates the philosophical and profound parts of the “spirit” feeling that intently connects dark spirits and blacks with individuals of color. Dubois made two correlative excursions. One is to look at the underlying foundations of African American strict idea and the other is to assess African American culture network. A dark soul fuses holy and mainstream things and gives perusers an artistic model of “profound love” to communicate and blend the beliefs of war of the “spirit” of African Americans.
Double awareness – an idea created by WE B. Dubois was first distributed in quite a while article “Dark Tendency” in “The Atlantic Monthly Magazine” in 1897. Later on, in a powerful investigation of the “Dark soul” in 1903, Dubois spoke to the disparity of this way of life as “unceasing”.
