Fundraising pitch for your local K-12 school division
Create a fundraising pitch for your local K-12 school division or institute of higher education. As part of your fundraising pitch, discuss two student-centered areas for which the funds will be used and why they are important to education.
Dear Friends,
I am writing to you today to ask for your support in raising funds for our local K-12 school division. As you know, our schools are facing a number of challenges, including declining enrollment, increasing poverty, and a lack of resources. These challenges are making it difficult for our schools to provide the quality education that our students deserve.
I am asking you to help us close the achievement gap and ensure that all of our students have the opportunity to succeed. Your donation will help us to provide our students with the resources they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
Here are two student-centered areas where your donation will make a difference:
- Early childhood education: Early childhood education is the foundation for lifelong learning. By investing in early childhood education, we can help our youngest learners get a head start and set them up for success in school and beyond.
- Support for students with special needs: Students with special needs deserve the same opportunities to learn and succeed as all other students. Your donation will help us to provide these students with the specialized instruction and support they need to reach their full potential.
- Provide more opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular activities, such as sports, arts, and clubs.
- Update our textbooks and technology so that our students have the tools they need to learn.
- Improve our school facilities so that they are safe and welcoming for all students.
