Gambling will increase the revenue of the city, should city encourage gambling? 2. Why?
Gambling is defined as risking money or something of value on the outcome of an event involving chance when probability of winning or losing is less than certain. Gambling is a common practice throughout human history, one that appeals to the individual’s desire for gain and offers the thrill of risk or uncertainty. However, the traditional dispensation had actually different mechanism of doing it and mostly it was material. The modern society involved it deeply to an extend of putting almost all possession be it material and or monetary. Its effect with regards to revenue is though questionable. With some people arguing for the long term impacts it has to the economy and deteriorating family unit. For this paper specifically, I will discuss the contentious question of whether the government should allow it or not giving precise answers in each case.
