2) What ethical issues and ethical reasoning are argued?
3) Do you think that the issues discussed have moral and ethical implications? Why or why not?
4) Do you agree with the speaker’s point of view? Be specific and thorough. Express how and why you agree or disagree and discuss how ethics and values contribute to your opinion.
5) Consider the theoretical concepts discussed in the course. Do not just state your viewpoint, rather provide relevant details to support your findings and/or position.

In the video, “Healthcare, Ethics, & Postmodernism” by Philosophy Tube, speaker Ollie Bray argues in favor of postmodern healthcare. He says that postmodern healthcare should be framed around social justice and care for each individual patient. Bray believes that such an approach can be achieved through focusing on prevention instead of reacting to illness after it has already occurred. He argues that this will require reformatting existing institutions and systems to focus on individualized values and care rather than economic efficiency or financial sustainability.

Bray is clearly biased in his point of view due to his support for a postmodern approach to healthcare. He does not address potential drawbacks or challenges associated with such an endeavor which could lead viewers to believe he is ignoring potential ethical issues concerning cost-benefit analysis or the broader implications of postmodernism on society as a whole. However, he does raise several ethical concerns regarding current approaches which include unequal access to quality treatment due to socio-economic status as well as lack of value placed upon preventive measures compared with more expensive treatments when illness is already present.

I agree with many of the points raised by Bray in regards to ethical considerations surrounding healthcare reformatting. In particular I think it is important for decision makers within health organizations consider how certain decisions may impact marginalized communities who are often at risk of being left behind during major changes like those proposed by Bray during his talk. From an ethics standpoint I believe that providing equitable access and equal quality medical care regardless of race or socioeconomic background should always be taken into consideration when making decisions about health reforms which can have drastic impacts on these very vulnerable populations if not done properly.

The theoretical concepts discussed throughout this course come into play here too as we consider what type of system would best represent our shared values and principles related to ethics and morality surrounding healthcare access and delivery models like those proposed by Bray’s model from a postmoderist perspective . Utilization theory helps us understand how efficient useage rates dictate costs associated with different treatments all while taking into consideration ethical criteria like safety for patients along with their right access whatever treatment they deem necessary without fear judgement based solely on their economic standing within society (i..e rationing). Additionally, utilitarian theories help us determine how much overall benefit any given change might bring regardless complexities related cost-benefit analysis while still respecting notions autonomy rights belonging individuals looking receive services provided publically funded health programs like Medicare Medicaid
