Reflect on the similarities and differences between self-directed learning (andragogy) and self-determined learning (heutagogy). What differences are there in class activities and assessments? How would this differ in the online, hybrid, and face-to-face environments?
Andragogy can be defined as self-directed learning while heutagogy is the idea of self-determined learning. There are several differences and similarities between the two concepts. The similarities include but not limited to, both methods of teaching are problem centered. the major difference is that whereas pedagogy is more systematic in nature, andragogy is less systematic and more motivational in character.
