Leadership Substitutes Theory
Leadership substitutes theory is a theory of leadership that focuses on the factors that can reduce the need for leadership. Leadership substitutes are factors that make it easier for team members to achieve their goals without the need for direct intervention from the leader. Examples of leadership substitutes include high levels of employee motivation, clear and concise goals, and a supportive work environment.
Which Leadership Style Best Describes Where I Am Now and What I Aspire to Be in the Future
I am currently in the early stages of my career, so I am still developing my leadership style. However, I aspire to be a transformational leader. I believe that transformational leaders are able to create the most positive and productive work environments. They are also able to inspire and motivate others to achieve great things.
To achieve my goal of becoming a transformational leader, I am working on developing my skills in the following areas:
