Personal Aspirations and Career Goals

Driven by a passion for improving community health, I aspire to become a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) specializing in cardiovascular care. Witnessing a family member’s struggle with heart disease firsthand instilled in me a deep desire to prevent and manage cardiovascular conditions within my community.

My career goal is to establish a practice that provides accessible, preventive care with a focus on cardiovascular health education and risk reduction strategies. I envision working alongside community organizations to offer educational workshops and screenings, particularly in underserved areas.

Work Commitment in South Florida

While I cannot definitively commit to a specific geographic location at this stage in my studies, I am open to the possibility of working as a nurse in South Florida for three years following graduation (assuming I am accepted into the scholarship program). The opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience in a region with a diverse population and potentially high cardiovascular risk factors aligns with my aspirations to serve underserved communities.

I am currently in the process of applying to Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) programs and am confident in my ability to gain acceptance into a reputable program.
