Is screening effective in reducing and identifying potential shooter/suicide bomber attackers?
Screening is one of the mechanisms employed by security firms and agencies to identify a potential criminal carrying explosive weapons or guns to protected areas. It is the physical check on people making entry into such places by the use of handheld and controlled machines. Since hidden cameras and CCTVs may not be able to detect such weapons, physical becomes an effective supplement to the same. However, this method may not be foolproof and thus requires the security firms to supplement it with other security methods to ensure maximum safety of the places they guard.
