Studies have revealed that lack of well-established prevention strategies is to be blamed for the continued reported cases of crime by individuals who have served a term or so in jail. This is especially noted by the recognition that when upon release there is no substantial material, moral and psychological support provided. This makes it clinical for the government and society to come up with re-admission mechanism that will effectively assist ex-detainees to fully and peacefully reintegrate in the society without any future cases of crimes. This paper presents, in a more elaborative means the challenges faced by the law enforcing organs in re-integrating ex-prisoners and correlatively discusses the challenges that area faced by the ex-detainees as well.
