It is common for employees to resist change within organizations, as it can involve adapting to unfamiliar situations and introducing new processes. This resistance can be caused by a variety of factors including fear of the unknown, lack of trust in management, feeling threatened or losing control over their work (Gostick & Elton 2020).

Firstly, employees may feel uncertain about the change process due to lack of clarity regarding its purpose or outcome. They might also feel that they have not been informed adequately about what is expected from them during this transition period. Moreover, if there has been no prior communication to discuss any potential implications from the changes then this could result in confusion and apprehensiveness amongst staff members.

Secondly, it is possible that employees are worried about job security and personal impact on their roles. If this fear persists then it will likely lead them towards resisting any proposed alterations as they would rather remain with their current position than risk being displaced or demoted.

Thirdly some people simply do not like change and prefer staying with routines which they are accustomed to .They often find themselves unwilling to adapt having comfortable lifestyle .This kind of resistance comes out more noticeably when proposed changes affect individual’s daily tasks directly thus causing them stress due sudden shift in workload.

To address such issues ,organisations must ensure effective communication between managers &employees at all levels .This helps build an understanding of need&purpose behind proposed changes leading towards setting up expectations &timelines related project implementation(Kerzner 2017)

Furthermore, organizations should focus providing adequate training&support which needed help transition period smoother .Proper education helps employee gain confidence necessary survive these uncertainties while learning new skills leads increased productivity (Hinchcliffe 2016). Moreover allowing workers participate decision making process makes aware how their roles important long term success organization.

Finally organizations must take effort ensuring job security concern among affected party giving assurance no one forced into unfavorable situation indirectly leading heightened morale amidst workforce (Kotter 2008)
