The ultimate goal of the Liberty Hope Foundation’s course project is to successfully raise $5 million so that they can begin construction on a new facility. To help ensure this goal is achieved, it is important to establish objectives using the SMART system of goal setting which stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-Bound.

1) Establish relationships with at least 10 corporate partners who are willing to contribute $500K or more. This objective will be specific as it outlines exactly what type of donations are being sought after; measurable as progress towards achieving this goal can easily be tracked through reports and updates from staff members in charge of donation acquisition; achievable due to the fact that such level support from corporations is not uncommon among organizations with similar goals; relevant as these donations could greatly benefit EP’s mission by providing additional resources needed for advancement; and time-bound since it must completed within 6 months.

2) Increase our donor base by 20% over the next 9 months. This objective is specific as it defines how much growth we plan on seeing within a set amount of time; measurable because progress towards reaching this benchmark can easily be tracked based off changes in donor numbers between monthly/quarterly periods dependent upon campaign length requirements; achievable given current weather trends suggest overall donation amounts should remain steady if not increase slightly year over year across different nonprofits (Dalton 2018); relevant given donations represent one major source income that allows EP operate effectively while pursuing their mission; and time-bound since growth needs occur within 9 month period.

3) Secure commitments from 25 volunteers who agree to donate their time weekly toward helping achieve organizational objectives. Similar qualities (specificity, measurability, achievability etc.) apply here just like previous objectives listed above—with exception being this task likely requires greater emphasis placed marketing campaigns designed attract potential volunteers than necessarily bringing new money into organization which might require additional resources outside those already allocated other tasks currently taking place.

When communicating with stakeholders throughout duration project it’s essential maintain open lines communication ensure any questions raised receive prompt response settle concerns voiced early. Furthermore best practices include keeping stakeholders well informed about project developments without overwhelming them too many unnecessary details related everyday operations unless absolutely necessary do so—which may lead decrease trust placed management team(Lam & Zhang 2017). Finally, transparency key when dealing upper level stakeholders especially when decisions need made quickly or require consent example managers review implement changes scope process design without consulting full team first (Malone 2020).
