The following policy statement provides guidance for Carter Cleaning Centers (CCC) in regards to vacation, sick leave, and paid days off. CCC strives to provide a fair and equitable working environment for all employees while promoting productivity and job satisfaction.
1) Vacation: All full-time employees are eligible for up to two weeks of paid vacation annually after one year of employment with CCC. Employees must submit their vacation request at least two weeks prior to the start date, which will be reviewed by their manager or supervisor before approval. Unused vacation time does not carry over from one year to the next; however, if an employee terminates work with CCC without having used all their allotted vacation time they may receive payment in lieu thereof on departure.
2) Sick Leave: Full-time employees are entitled to up 5 days of paid sick leave per calendar year upon completion of one month of service with CCC; any unused sick days do not rollover into subsequent years. In addition, additional unpaid sick leave may be granted upon request at the discretion of management based on individual circumstances as well as business needs. However, if more than 5 days is requested then medical documentation justifying such an extension must also be provided along with the request form for consideration by management before approval can be granted.
3) Paid Days Off: All full-time employees are eligible for 2 paid personal holidays each calendar year; these cannot be taken consecutively unless approved by management based on individual cases and business requirements. Moreover, additional public holidays recognized nationally or within the state where an employee works will automatically grant that person a day off though this does not include any compensation associated with same beyond base pay hours already accrued during regular shifts throughout such period(s).
In conclusion, this policy statement provides general guidelines regarding vacations/leave entitlements available to all full-time staff employed at Carter Cleaning Centers while still allowing some flexibility in terms of granting special requests depending on individual circumstances and company operations during particular periods should they arise going forward
