I am writing with deep concern regarding the diminishing regard for the meaning of human life in our country. In this day and age, we are all too familiar with the brutal acts of violence, discrimination, and injustice being perpetrated against people from all walks of life – regardless if they be part of a minority group or not. This is a disheartening situation that needs to be addressed as soon as possible in order to ensure that everyone has the right to live their lives peacefully and safely.

Human life is a precious gift that needs to be nurtured and protected. From birth until death, every individual should have access to basic rights such as education, health care services, employment opportunities, equal protection under law and more. Living a meaningful existence hinges on these rights being respected by society at large for it is only by doing so can one truly feel empowered and valued as an individual (Mansfield et al., 2020). Each person’s contribution towards making our nation better must be acknowledged without prejudice or judgement (Moore & DeSouza 2018).

Therefore I urge you to take action in promoting awareness about the importance of human life amongst your constituents in order to foster understanding about its various aspects which will hopefully lead us back onto a path towards achieving peace and harmony within our community (Goharzadeh & Sluiter 2015). Your support would go along way towards ensuring that no one is forgotten regardless of background or circumstance (Tavafian et al., 2019).
