Operational management and strategic management skills are relevant to both the public and private sectors, including manufacturing, hospitals, and government agencies. Strategic management process is an organization strategic process in which managers try to make choices and set visions and strategies for the benefit of the organization which will enable better sustainable performance for the organization and is followed up of a certain period of time. Operational management is concerned with the day-today activities required to produce goods and services, while strategic management focuses on activities necessary to ensure competitive positioning.
