As a poet, William Cullen stood among the most celebrated figures in the frieze of nineteenth century America. William Cullen had impacted greatly on the emancipation proclamation through his radical poetry. The two iconic figures, that is Lincoln and Cullen had influenced one another in their respective careers, as William was a an unapologetic fanatic of the republican party while Lincoln loved reading poetry especially by CULLEN and that’s how Cullen had impacted on the emancipation proclamation.
