The act of kindness I chose to do was to offer a stranger on the street something for free. More specifically, I decided to give away some snacks and drinks from my backpack. The main reason why I chose this particular act is because it seemed relatively easy, yet still has potential to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. By giving out these items, I hoped that the person would be able to get an energy boost and a feeling of being cared for by another human—even if just for a few moments.

I went about implementing this process rather simply, by going out onto the street with my backpack full of snacks and drinks and offering them up directly to any passerby I encountered who could potentially use them. In terms of results achieved, while obviously not knowing how it impacted their lives afterwards or even having any kind “proof” that they were appreciative at all; there was certainly one winner: Myself!
