Guideline for Approaching the Film:
In Chapters 5-8, Allen & Sawhney (2021) focus on organizational behavior (conflict, power & ethical issues, motivation, leadership, and communication). As
you watch the film, keep these things in mind and develop a comprehensive analysis of the film using the following questions as a guide:
1. Describe the conflict that arises in the film between Serpico, other officers, and departmental leaders.
2. How does the concept of power come into play?
3. What are the major ethical issues that arise as Serpico attempts to ethically do his job as a law enforcement officer within the organization?
