Language has a major influence on the critical thinking process and decision-making. The ability to use language differentiates us from animals because we use it to express ourselves (Moore, 2013). The power of language to influence thought makes vocabulary building a critical part of education. Thinking clearly and systematically can improve the way we express our ideas. Language affects arguer credibility. Language uses words and symbols to communicate emotions, thought, and feelings.
