Chapter 5 presents lengthier overviews of the false confessions of Charles Erikson, Frank Sterling, and Jessie Misskelley. Pick at least one to illustrate “police interrogations and false confessions.”
With the case you picked, recognize the practices that lead to the false confession and summarize how the flase confession could have been avoided.
