Globalization is a main concept in studying Hollywood cinema and its global film industry. Hollywood films have often been regarded as evident examples for discussions about globalization and its cultural impacts (Hozic, 2014). China`s cinema market has been growing dramatically in recent years. In fact, China has become the largest cinema market outside North America (Mayyasi, 2016). Hollywood exports revenue-sharing movies to China to receive additional box-office revenues. Although globalization accelerates Hollywood movies` domination in most global film markets, that is not the case in China.
