Using the course text and your own research, identify evidence-based strategies for decreasing minor disruptive behaviors and develop a professional development presentation on the topic.
Write 1-page in your cumulative paper that:
Explains how you collaborated with the general education teacher to ensure the interventions are being implemented with fidelity
Explains at least one evidence-based practice that you implemented to help support this collaboration

Add 3- to 4-pages to your Functional Behavior Assessment, Part 2 Assignment that includes the following:
Data Analysis
Write an analysis of the data describing the trends and your rationale as to why the behavior decreased, increased, or stayed the same when the intervention was put in place.
Explain the next steps for you and your student with regard to your findings from this shortened version of a Functional Behavior Assessment.
Attach the data tables of the pre and post data on your identified behavior as Appendix A in your paper.

The factors that constitute appropriate and inappropriate behavior are often dependent on the nature of class and faculty comfort level, and can vary widely from lectures to labs and across content areas. Your direct intervention will work for a majority of situations; however, some students and situations are ongoing and will require additional consultation and follow up.
