Greetings,
Businesses decide whether to outsource their operations or keep them in the United States based on financial gain and cost-effectiveness. The lower wage costs for overseas workers are a major factor in many businesses’ decisions to relocate operations outside of the United States. In the countries where these companies are relocating their operations, many of their employees are paid less than they would be in the United States. The wage disparity allows for the possibility of 24/7 customer service. In addition to lower wage costs, the cost of technology also decreases, increasing the revenue potential. Even though there are benefits for businesses that decide to relocate overseas, there are also risks to consider. The geographical distance reduces the business’s operational control, making it difficult to oversee day-to-day operations in person.
Data security could be problematic, and the most damaging flaw could be customer dissatisfaction caused by language barriers in customer interactions. Language barriers could frustrate and mistrust consumers, causing them to look elsewhere for the same service. For all the money saved by the advantages, the disadvantage of consumers not purchasing the service or product would completely negate their anticipated profit.

Because of this week’s reading, I now realize why businesses exist in many disadvantaged countries worldwide. They are prepared to spend less and produce fewer expenses. On the other hand, establishing a corporation internationally may include various growth issues that may inhibit the company’s success. For example, if Americans visit Southeast Asian countries like Vietnam more frequently, vital data may be jeopardized. When there are technological impediments, sensitive information might be easily compromised. Americans must also develop cultural and linguistic awareness (Uzialko, 2021).
Communication problems might arise as a result of adaptation and skill. On the other hand, success is fostered by continually adjusting techniques from one nation to the next. First and first, community awareness is essential (Cultural Intelligence,2018). Various factors may contribute to customers having biases towards their own country. It is the company’s responsibility to ensure that these stakeholders are effectively safeguarded. When customers contact people of different ethnicities, every mistake makes them unhappy with the service (Banton, 2020).

4)Nicholas Parker
Good morning class,
I am Nicholas S. Parker a senior NCO of the U.S Army and have had many different roles in my 11-year career. From the time I joined the Army to now I have been in the Air Defense Artillery Brach community as a 14Tango. During this time, I have had five rotations providing missile defense coverage. During those rotations I done everything from being an equipment operator, maintenance NCOIC, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Battery Trainer and a Platoon Sergeant. From a leadership role I have had the opportunity of ensuring the health and welfare, success and mentorship for anyway to 3 to 45 Soldiers at a time. While I am currently trying to finish my bachelor’s degree, I have had the time to attend numerous military schools such as Senior Leadership Course, Advance Leadership Course, THHAD School, Patriot School, MRT, SHARP and EO School to name a few. In ADA units there are a lot of civilian contractors that work alongside use, so networking with them is very important. I found it interesting that “According to a PwC survey, as of June 2020, 77% of office workers were working remotely at least one day a week” because our civilian counter parts do not like working from home and would rather be working on equipment and enhancing its capability’s. My end goal is to finish my 20 years and then through my network of friends I have made work for Raytheon or Lockheed Martin as a Team Lead to continue my contribution to the ADA community.

Good evening,
My name is Vanessa Eaton. I have been in the retail banking industry for 8 years, to include 6 years in the branch and now 2 years working remote. Prior to Covid-19, I held roles including Client Relationship Consultant and Assistant Branch Manager. In 2020, I had the opportunity to temporarily work from home in the Mortgage Collections department after they experienced an unexpected influx of new forbearance plans. When that project ended, I made the decision to move into the 24hour Call Center to remain working from home. While this felt as if it was a step backwards in my career, securing a permanent remote position allowed me to sell my home in Wyoming and relocate to Arizona. Shortly after the move, a manager with whom I had worked with in the Mortgage Department informed me of an opening on her team, and that is now the position I hold. I am currently attending Trident University through a scholarship program offered by my company and the University. In addition to my banking career, I have worked as a waitress for 10 years. My goal is to obtain a degree in Human Resource Management so that I can move back into a management position and no longer have the need for a second income. I have been interested in returning to college many times over the years and am grateful to have the opportunity to do so now.

tion, Vittola expresses the extent of military tactics used, but never reaches a conclusion whether it’s lawful or not to proceed these actions, as he constantly found a middle ground, where it can be lawful to do such things but never always (Begby et al (2006b), Page 326-31). This is supported by Frowe, who measures the legitimate tactics according to proportionality and military necessity. It depends on the magnitude of how much damage done to one another, in order to judge the actions after a war. For example, one cannot simply nuke the terrorist groups throughout the middle-east, because it is not only proportional, it will damage the whole population, an unintended consequence. More importantly, the soldiers must have the right intention in what they are going to achieve, sacrificing the costs to their actions. For example: if soldiers want to execute all prisoners of war, they must do it for the right intention and for a just cause, proportional to the harm done to them. This is supported by Vittola: ‘not always lawful to execute all combatants…we must take account… scale of the injury inflicted by the enemy.’ This is further supported by Frowe approach, which is a lot more moral than Vittola’s view but implies the same agendas: ‘can’t be punished simply for fighting.’ This means one cannot simply punish another because they have been a combatant. They must be treated as humanely as possible. However, the situation is escalated if killing them can lead to peace and security, within the interests of all parties.
Overall, jus in bello suggests in wars, harm can only be used against combatants, never against the innocent. But in the end, the aim is to establish peace and security within the commonwealth. As Vittola’s conclusion: ‘the pursuit of justice for which he fights and the defence of his homeland’ is what nations should be fighting for in wars (Begby et al (2006b), Page 332). Thus, although today’s world has developed, we can see not much different from the modernist accounts on warfare and the traditionists, giving another section of the theory of the just war. Nevertheless, we can still conclude that there cannot be one definitive theory of the just war theory because of its normativity.

Jus post bellum

Finally, jus post bellum suggests that the actions we should take after a war (Frowe (2010), Page 208).
Firstly, Vittola argues after a war, it is the responsibility of the leader to judge what to do with the enemy (Begby et al (2006b), Page 332).. Again, proportionality is emphasised. For example, the Versailles treaty imposed after the First World War is questionably too harsh, as it was not all Germany’s fault for the war. This is supported by Frowe, who expresses two views in jus post bellum: Minimalism and Maximalism, which are very differing views. Minimalists suggest a more lenient approach while maximalist, supporting the above example, provides a harsher approach, punishing the enemy both economically and politically (Frowe (2010), Page 208). At the last instance, however, the aim of war is to establish peace security, so whatever needs to be done can be morally justified, if it follows the rules of jus ad bellum.
In conclusion, just war theory is very contestable and can argue in different ways. However, the establishment of a just peace is crucial, making all war type situation to have different ways of approaching (Frowe (2010), Page 227). Nevertheless, the just war theory comprises of jus ad bellum, jus in bello and jus post bellum, and it can be either morally controversial or justifiable depending on the proportionality of the circumstance. Therefore, there cannot be one definitive theory of the just war but only a theoretical guide to show h
