In a story, a sentimental saint is a scholarly prime example alluding to a character that rejects set up standards and shows, has been dismissed by society, and has oneself as the focal point of their own reality. Jay Gatsby, a character from the novel The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, isn’t viewed as a sentimental legend during the 1920s. Obviously Gatsby is definitely not a sentimental legend since he makes Daisy, the supposed love of his life, the focal point of his reality instead of himself. Indeed, while he is an untouchable and rejects what is imagined to be typical in the public arena, he doesn’t adore himself as much as he cherishes Daisy, all that he does is for Daisy. While he is a disastrous saint being that his blemishes are the explanation that he was slaughtered, he is certainly not a sentimental legend.

In the Novel, Jay Gatsby makes Daisy the focal point of his reality. He didn’t consider anything except if Daisy had the option to fit into the circumstance by one way or another.
