Definition of Creation and Evolution

Creation often describes the act of producing something for the first time, but it can also refer to the thing that is produced. Evolution is change in the heritable characteristics of biological populations over successive generations. These characteristics are the expressions of genes that are passed on from parent to offspring during reproduction. Scientists` best estimate is that the universe is about 13.8 billion years old. But, like so many of the largest-scale properties of the universe, we are not entirely sure about its age. Earth is estimated to be 4.54 billion years old, plus or minus about 50 million years. Scientists have scoured Earth searching for the oldest rocks to radiometrically date.
