Part I: In about a paragraph, explain how your view of management vs. leadership has changed from the beginning of this course.
Part II: Write a Philosophy of Leadership Statement in about a page. Be sure to address the following critical elements:
• Identify your leadership style, as derived from the self-assessment you completed.
• Reflect on what you have learned about yourself that makes you a great team leader or a leader who can manage teams.
• Describe your approach to motivating employees and how you will know what motivates them.
• Describe how you will communicate difficult messages to employees.
Part I: Evolution of Leadership Perspective
At the outset of this leadership course, I held a relatively traditional view of leadership, perceiving it primarily as a managerial function focused on task delegation and performance oversight.
