For my public relations campaign, I would utilize a mix of both traditional and twenty-first-century integrated marketing communication strategies. For example, to establish trust with potential customers and provide information about my product or service I might use print media such as newspapers and magazines, broadcast media like radio and television ads, direct mail campaigns targeted at specific audiences, outdoor advertising (billboards etc.), and even trade shows or exhibitions to engage people directly.
To reach younger target markets who are increasingly using online platforms for their day-to-day tasks I could also take advantage of digital forms of promotion such as search engine optimization (SEO) to increase visibility in online searches; social networks like Facebook and Instagram; email blasts via newsletters; mobile applications; video content on YouTube or Vimeo; webinars for distance learning courses; pay per click (PPC) ad campaigns which appear on relevant websites when triggered by certain keywords etc. All the while leveraging data analytics tools to track responses from these various channels in order measure success.
