3.4 Costume
For the discussion of beauty, the relationship between wardrobe and body is a key point. The truth is that the shape of the clothes represents their ideal body in each period.
World War I 1900-1907 garments were still popular in the S-style at the end of the last century. The garments were basically the same in shape. They had a compact upper body, wide skirt and a high collar.
