It can also help identify other conditions that may be affecting the liver.   

5. Liver Biopsy:

• In some cases, a liver biopsy may be necessary to confirm the diagnosis of Hepatitis C and assess the extent of liver damage.   
• This procedure involves taking a small sample of liver tissue for examination under a microscope.
