The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) released their report “The Future of Nursing 2020-2030: Charting a Path to Achieve Health Equity” on October 28th, 2020. The purpose of this report was to explore the role nursing plays in meeting the nation’s healthcare needs and identifying solutions that can help create a more equitable health system. The report was generated by an expert panel who conducted extensive research into the current state of nursing practice and education.
