Day 4: God creates the sun, moon, and stars to govern day and night. Day 5: God creates swimming creatures in the water and flying creatures in the sky. Day 6: God creates land animals and mankind (male and female) in God’s image. Day 7: God rests from creation and blesses the seventh day, making it holy.

  • Relationship:God walks with man in the garden, suggesting a close and intimate relationship.
  1. The Fall of Humanity (Genesis 3):

  1. God and Man After the Fall:
  • Curses:
    • For Man:Ground will be cursed with toil and hardship. Adam will have to work by the sweat of his brow to produce food. He will eventually return to dust.
    • For Woman:Increased pain in childbirth and subjection to her husband’s rule.
    • For Serpent:Crawling on its belly and eternal enmity with mankind.
  • Relationship:God expels them from the Garden of Eden to prevent them from eating the tree of life and living forever. The close, innocent relationship is broken.
