The first tool is budgeting. Budgeting allows management to identify areas where money is being spent and predict future spending needs. This helps them plan for what should be done with cash based on the company’s goals and objectives. A budget can also help management identify potential problems, such as overspending or inadequate funds, before they become an issue.
