The history of communication is more than just a timeline of events. It is the story of how technological advances and innovations have revolutionized the world. Advancement in technology and changes in the communication generally go hand in hand. The arrival of the internet opened new doors of personal communications. The new industry technology rapidly increased productivity and efficiency and quickly began to change every aspect of U.S. society, including the nature of work, family life, and dominant-minority relations.
