As a graduate of Grand Canyon University, I can draw on the Christian Identity and Mission page of the GCU website to develop an organization which fosters respect and caring. This includes integrating faith, learning and work together into my organization’s culture in order to build strong relationships amongst all staff members. For example, this could involve creating meaningful opportunities for employees to engage with each other through activities like team-building exercises or lunchtime bible studies (GCU 2019). In addition, as part of our corporate mission we should aim to provide ongoing education for our employees by offering courses or workshops that focus on professional development but also encourage spiritual growth. Finally, by incorporating biblical principles into our daily operations such as treating others with kindness and understanding; it is possible to create an atmosphere where everyone feels valued regardless of their religious beliefs (Rampolla 2020). Through these various initiatives I believe it is possible to demonstrate how faith can be used constructively within the workplace in order foster a climate of respect and care throughout my organization.
