What are your thoughts on job rotation, job sharing, flexible work arrangements and similar program in terms employee retention? Are these types of programs critical? Why or why not?
What role do you think training and development (T&D) plays in enhancing employee performance?
1. Common findings have revealed the essence of job rotation, job sharing, flexible work arrangements and such like programs to beneficial to any well performing organizations. This type of programs is critical because they motivate high-performing and experienced employees while at the same time helps in curbing absenteeism because of motivation to work and increased job satisfaction realized through it. 2. Training and development of employees is crucial in two major dimensions. First it improves employee’s self -esteem because one is feeling the endowment that comes with experience, skills and knowledge to perform a particular activity.
