I believe in transformational leadership, which is a leadership style that focuses on inspiring and motivating others to achieve common goals. I believe that transformational leaders create a sense of shared vision and purpose, and they empower their followers to take ownership of their work. I also believe that transformational leaders are able to build strong relationships and create a positive work environment.
I have been working in student affairs for the past 5 years, and I have had the opportunity to lead and mentor young scholars in a variety of settings. I have learned that it is important to be able to build relationships with students, to create a supportive environment, and to provide them with the resources they need to succeed. I am also committed to creating a more equitable and inclusive student experience.
I believe that an Ed.D. in leadership will help me to further develop my transformational leadership skills. I am particularly interested in learning more about conflict resolution, relationship building, and decision making. I believe that these skills will be essential for me to be an effective leader in student affairs.

An Ed.D. in leadership will help me to develop the skills and knowledge I need to be a more effective leader in student affairs. I will learn about the latest theories and practices in leadership, and I will have the opportunity to network with other leaders in the field. I will also have the opportunity to conduct research on leadership, which will help me to make a more informed contribution to the field.
My desired area of impact is young scholars. I believe that all students deserve to have access to a quality education, and I want to use my leadership skills to help young scholars succeed. I am particularly interested in working with students from underrepresented backgrounds.

I think this program can support my learning goals because it offers a collaborative approach to teaching and learning. I will have the opportunity to learn from experienced leaders in the field, and I will also have the opportunity to work with other students on leadership projects. The program also has a practical problem solving component, which I think will be valuable. I will have the opportunity to apply the skills I learn in the program to real-world problems. This will help me to develop my critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
