Social media bullying among American teens

Name-calling, and rumor-spreading have long been an unpleasant and challenging aspect of adolescent life. But the proliferation of smartphones and the rise of social media has transformed where, when and how bullying takes place. A new Pew Research Center survey finds that 59% of U.S. teens have personally experienced at least one of six types of abusive online behaviors. In a random sample study, over 14% teens admitted to cyber bullying another person, with spreading rumors online, via text, or email being the most common form of bullying [Cyber bullying Research Center, 2015]. The best solution against bullying is to educate your child about cyber bullying. They may not understand how hurtful and damaging their behaviors can be. Foster empathy and awareness by encouraging them to look at their actions from the victim’s perspective. Never share information online if it could be used against you. If your friends start teasing someone online or via text, don’t participate, ask them to stop.

1.2.1. SCRUM

Scrum is an iterative and incremental framework, developed to optimize predictability and risk control. (Sutherland and Schwaber, 2011) Scrum has been used in software development since the beginning of 1990’s. It is important to note, that Scrum is not a process or technique for building products, but a framework where it is possible to apply different processes and techniques within. (Sutherland and Schwaber, 2011)

The premise for Scrum is that software development can be a very complicated and unpredictable process. [REF] Hence, the foundation of Scrum is based on empiricism, meaning that knowledge should come from experience, and decisions should be based on what is known. [REF] Figure 2 shows the Scrum process.

When applying the Scrum framework, you have a Scrum Team consisting of three roles: the product owner, the scrum master and the development team. The framework has four ceremonies: sprint planning; daily scrum(daily scrum); sprint review; retrospective and three roles: product owner; scrum master; the development team.
