My results on the Short Term Memory Test were average – I was able to remember around five or six letters out of the nine given. On the Short Term Memory Picture Game, my results were slightly better as I was able to recall seven out of the nine images.

It was easier for me to remember the pictures compared to letters due to their visual nature. This is because visual information is processed more quickly than written information (Kahana et al 1999) allowing us to store it in our short-term memory more easily (Baddeley 2003).
