For instance, I read several articles related to how nurses can provide holistic care while ensuring safety considerations are taken into account during client care. This new knowledge has enabled me to identify potential problems that may arise during patient interactions and develop interventions that can be used to address these issues. In particular, I have gained an understanding of the importance of cultural sensitivity when providing client care, particularly with regards to mobility-related needs (Walker et al., 2018). With this in mind, I am now better equipped to recognize and address any unconscious biases or misunderstandings that could lead to disparities in treatment outcomes (Rosebush et al., 2020).
