Consider the following scenario:
You are now a small-business consultant.
One of your clients, Home Solutions, is considering opening two new stores.
You should know that businesses often experience cash flow problems due to continuous changes that occur in the industry, such as the growth in the case of Home Solutions.
Keeping up-to-date on the everyday cash flow status of a business is an essential skill needed for business owners, general managers, and leaders. As an introduction to this skill development, in this assignment, you will prepare a topical paper that explains to Home Solutions the problems a firm can experience when it encounters cash flow problems due to growth.
Use a problem-solving model or an outline with which you are familiar as a guide for preparing your continuing business growth option in spite of cash flow problems.
Prepare the business option that will help your client, Home Solutions, avoid the types of cash flow problems that hinder business expansion and slow down growth.
Identify how cash flow problems can become obstacles to business expansion and growth. Consider ideas from your readings, OCLS Databases, and Internet research. Consider additional resources and Internet search terms like: “cash flow problems and growth, “the effects of cash flow problems,” “how to avoid cash flow problems,” etc.
Outline a possible business option that Home Solutions could try in order to avoid these types of cash flow problems.
Your paper should be 500 to 600 words in length. Use proper spelling, grammar, and APA formatting and in-text citations, if used, for your analysis paper.
Use APA Level One Headings (See OCLS APA Writing Styles Guides) in your paper to organize your answers so that it is clear to which question(s) you are replying. For your answer to Question 5a, use “Cash Flow Problems – Obstacles to Growth” as your first centered heading. For your answer to Question 5b, use “Cash Flow Problems – Continued Growth” as your second centered heading.
Your paper should have an APA title-page and be in APA format. Make sure you reference the resources, any articles you use, or the Bible appropriately when used as an information source.
