The organization I am proposing to review and resolve is a large retail organization. This company has experienced significant success over the years but recently, they have seen a decline in both efficiency and customer satisfaction. The organizational issue that has adversely affected productivity is the lack of communication between departments, resulting in an inefficient workflow.

It appears that each department within the organization operates independently from one another without any clear guidelines or structured processes for cooperation or collaboration. As a result, there are frequent delays in product delivery, customer service inquiries take longer to respond to and staff morale is low due to the disorganization and confusion this creates. In addition, employees do not feel empowered as decisions are made without their input or knowledge leading to dissatisfaction with their jobs.

In order for this organization to run efficiently it needs improved communication between departments; well-defined job roles; streamlined processes; better use of technology; more focused training programs; greater transparency throughout all levels of management; increased employee engagement and recognition schemes which reward good performance (Ramanathan et al., 2014). All these measures would help reduce stress on workers while increasing both customer satisfaction levels and overall employee retention rates (Gomez-Mejia et al., 2018).
