Provide a scholarly explanation of personal philosophy of nursing and how ethics are part of the philosophy.
Students will review the information provided by textbooks and recommended readings to develop and express the philosophy of nursing, by focusing on new insights gained from the course readings, and the influence the readings had on his/her philosophy.  Explain personal philosophy of nursing.
2. Identify two philosophical concepts.
3. Explain how ethics are incorporated into the philosophy.
4. Describe how the philosophical concepts influence the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) student’s nursing practice and provide at least two specific examples.
5. The scholarly paper should be in narrative format, 3 to 4 pages excluding the title and reference page.
6. Include an introductory paragraph, purpose statement, and a conclusion.
7. Include level 1 and 2 headings to organize the paper.
8. Write the paper in third person, not first person (meaning do not use ‘we’ or ‘I’) and in a scholarly manner. To clarify: I, we, you, me, our may not be used. In addition, describing yourself as the researcher or the author should not be used.
9. Include at least three professional peer-reviewed scholarly journal references to support the paper and be less than five (5) years old.
