1. My topic: Physical Activity and Health Awareness among Adults
2. The population for this claim would be all adults (people aged 18 and above) within the United States.
The justification for choosing this population is that adults are generally expected to be more aware of their health, have a degree of control over their lifestyle choices, and can provide informed consent for the survey. Since the survey focuses on physical activity and health awareness, it’s logical to target adults who likely have the autonomy and understanding to make decisions about their physical activity levels. Also, health perceptions and habits can significantly differ between children, adults, and elderly populations, so focusing on adults can provide more specific and relevant insights for this group.

3. The questions that will be asked are the following :
• How old are you?
• What is your gender?
• How many days per week do you engage in physical activity (such as walking, running, exercising, etc.)?,
• On average, how many minutes do you spend on physical activity each day?,
• On a scale from 1 to 5, how would you rate your knowledge about the health benefits of regular physical activity?
• Do you believe that you engage in enough physical activity as recommended by health professionals?

5 The survey can be shared via social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, as well as through email to reach a diverse population of adults.
6 An online survey tool like Google Forms or SurveyMonkey can be used to collect responses. The collected data can then be exported to Excel for analysis.
7 The sampling method can be convenient sampling, as I will be sharing the survey on social media and emailing it to people I have access to. This type of sampling is often used in preliminary research efforts to get a gross estimate of the results, without incurring the cost or time required to select a random sample (Gravetter & Forzano, 2012)..
8 A bar graph can be used to represent the categorical variables (like gender), and a histogram can be used to represent the quantitative variables (like age, days of physical activity per week, etc.)..
9 The appropriate descriptive statistics for this study would include the mean and standard deviation for age, days of physical activity per week, average minutes of physical activity per day, and knowledge rating. Frequencies and percentages would be appropriate for gender and perception of sufficiency of physical activity. These are chosen based on the types of variables and will provide insights into the central tendencies and dispersions of the responses (Gravetter & Forzano, 2012).
