Poem, Short Story, Play Essay

    Write a paper using "Cinderella" by Anne Sexton, the short story "Bernice Bobs Her Hair" by F. Scott Fitzgerald and the play Trifles by Susan Glaspell. (one poem and one short story). Use the three works to discuss the women characters featured in them. Your paper can focus on issues women face in society or in the home. For example, you might discuss women’s oppression, women’s empowerment, how women are treated by men, or the challenges of motherhood. Try to compare and contrast the works as you go.
