School counselors are important advocates for students with disabilities in a number of ways. Here are two examples:
I see myself playing a similar role as a school counselor. I would be committed to helping students with disabilities access the resources they need to succeed in school and beyond. I would also be an advocate for students with disabilities at the school and district level, working to ensure that they have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Here are some specific things I would do to advocate for students with disabilities:
