Presentation on Krishna’s Paradise on Earth
Students are required to do a ten minute powerpoint presentation on a selected topic. The presentation should contain 10-12 slides and use images to illustrate your information. Images can be taken from the powerpoint presentations already on UM Learn or from the UM Library ArtStor collection or from the web. Students must send an electronic copy of the presentation to the Instructor by noon of the day of the presentation.1. Begin by reading your assigned article/chapter which is highlighted on the student presentation sign up sheet. Some of the readings are from our textbooks and some are on UM Learn under “Readings.” 2.Think about the way your individual topic (e.g. “Tirtha,” “Krishna kills Putana” etc. ) relates to the reading and contributes to an understanding of the deity, sacred place or sacred activity. Discuss at least three major points.3.Create two discussion questions for the class at the end of the presentation. Discussion time does not count as part of the ten-minute presentation.4.At the end of the presentation list all sources used
